Vital Aging: Using Body, Mind, and Laughter to Thrive in Uncertain Times
Join us for this FREE conference for older adults. Dr. John Glick, a physician and clown with Patch Adam’s Gesundheit Institute, will speak on “Laughter for the Health of It” as he entertains, informs, motivates and inspires the participants. In addition the conference will feature local speakers who will share the benefits of meditation, yoga, laughter yoga, and Tai Chi. The event will include time for participants to visit resource tables hosted by community organizations. This event is sponsored by the County of San Diego ’s Aging & Independence Services, Sharp HealthCare, San Diego Park & Recreation Department, and other community partners. We expect more than 400 community members to attend this event.
